Description

My unique KiniArt style has been more than 22 years in the making. My portraits are not an exact photocopy of your pet, but are unique KiniArt PetCatures™, subject to my own interpretation and whimsical style. Your KiniArt pet portrait will be painted with mixed media of acrylic paint, India ink and colored pencils from your reference photos onto canvas that is stretched over wooden stretcher bars. Painting will continued over sides of the canvas (either continued image or a painted solid black border so framing the canvas not required before hanging on your wall).

Receipt of payment (and of course, your reference photos) secures your portrait project’s spot on my schedule. I’ll request by email your reference photos after I receive your order. 

For best results, send at least 1-2 photos of your pet, including a good face shot, (send more if you have them!) If the good face photo is not the same photo as that of your favorite pose, toy, etc. please send those as well and include a note if you want those things included in your portrait. You may also include a note with your pet’s name and something about their personality traits, behaviors, favorites, etc. that make them stand out from your other pets, (It helps me to capture their personality!).

Multiple pets are fine at no additional cost, however the number of pets desired may affect the minimum size canvas I can do without affecting the overall quality of the portrait. If you’re ordering a size less than 8×10″, OR you’re including more than 2-3 pets in one portrait, please contact me for the minimum size suggested for your order before making your purchase.

Adorable KiniArt Gift Certificates are available (printed or digital; your choice) if your ordered portrait is a gift and you would like the recipient to be able to choose their own reference photos.

COPYRIGHTS: Artist retains copyright to all works. You are ordering only the original artwork. If you wish to have the custom art on KiniArt products such as phone cases, apparel, greeting cards, home décor, etc., contact me to discuss these options before placing your order. I do not offer your portrait art publicly to other KiniArt collectors without your permission.
